This is my final School magazine cover.
- I created the rectangles, one by one, using the Rectangle Tool
- I then changed each rectangle to a colour on the red colour spectrum from the Set Foreground colour square
- I used the logo from my other school magazine cover and opened it onto this cover and positioned it in the bottom left rectangle
- Using the Horizontal Type Tool, I added in each of the words 'Holy Trinity `Academy' and positioned them like so
- I changed the colour of each word using the Set Foreground Colour square from the blue colour spectrum
- I then opened up each of the photos of the people above and cropped each of them to fit the rectangle
- The photo in the top left corner and the one of the girl, second from the right, led me to have to adjust the height of the rectangle they are in so I stretched the rectangles to fit in the photos
- I changed the background colour of the cover to grey using the Set Foreground Colour square
I think my Magazine Cover is good because it looks well organised and professional.
It displays the colour scheme of the school which is red, grey and blue and portrays the uniform for the KS3 and KS4 students and the uniform for the sixth form well.
It also shows one of the teachers which also allows people to approve of the professional and happy workplace for not only students, but teachers too.
I think what I could improve was the accuracy of the box sizes as I had to draw each one out individually so they may not be all the same size and I think I could of found a more mature/professional font for the Holy Trinity Academy title.
